A Tale of Technology: The Realms of IT, AV, Security, Voice and Data

Camera Corner Connecting Point has been hosting an annual technology show for more than 30 years. It has become the largest of its kind in the Northeast Wisconsin area and it is event that many of our vendor partners and customers anticipate every year. More than 100 vendor partners participate in various ways. There are usually 80 or more booths and the expo attracts anywhere from 1,000 to 1,200 of our customers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.

To add some fun into the event, we always have a theme for our expo. We've had themes based on popular games, such as Monopoly (Technopoly), television shows (Survivor), time periods (Roaring 20s: Technology and All That Jazz), famous events like Woodstock (Techstock) and classics like the Wizard of Oz (The Wizards of Technology). This provides a nice backdrop to learn about new technologies, and there is a lot of learning opportunities at our expo. We host 16 information seminars throughout the day that cover a variety of technologies. We also host deep-dive tracts the night before the expo to give our C level executives and network administrators the opportunity for in-depth exploration on selected subjects.
